Note the naked chicken mural. Curacao is working on beautifien its old buildings. The naked chicke is supposed to represent the countries openess to all nationalities and faiths.

Views from the bus. Not the pontoon bridge in center of photo. This swings open to alow boats in or out. We had the best parking spot compared to the other 2 cruise ships that arrived after us.

Curacao orange liquor. Made from the peeling of mutated Valencia oranges. Apparently the spainiard in there short sojourn on the island attempted to grow valencia oranges but they turned out very bitter. Then some one tried to make alochol and the rest is history.

Chichi refers to the first born daughter. This lady turned that into a booming business about 16 years ago. She has a large number of local women who do the painting.
